Devon Oaks Assisted Living Earns Deficiency-Free Ohio Department of Health Survey

(Cleveland, Ohio) – Eliza Jennings announced that Devon Oaks Assisted Living Community in Westlake earned a deficiency-free rating at the conclusion of its recent survey from the Ohio Department of Health, signifying full compliance with all standards of care and services required for assisted living communities.
“This achievement is the result of the entire staff’s diligence, dedication, and outstanding teamwork,” said Richard M. Boyson Jr., Eliza Jennings President and CEO. “A deficiency-free survey demonstrates Eliza Jennings’ commitment to providing exceptional care and services that promote the highest quality of life for the older adults we serve.”
The annual survey measures compliance with an extensive list of state and federal regulations to ensure that residents receive quality care that addresses individual needs and preferences. Medical records and documentation, resident care, clinical services, dining, maintenance, housekeeping and laundry services, safety, observance of resident rights, and resident/family satisfaction are among the areas evaluated by surveyors.
Devon Oaks promotes independence and choice by providing a full range of comprehensive services, including 24-hour access to nursing care, private accommodations in a secure environment, and memory support. SAIDO Learning™, the breakthrough, non-pharmacological treatment for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, is available to all residents.
