Rich Boyson rejoined Eliza Jennings in May 2015 as president and CEO; he previously served as Eliza Jennings’ director of financial operations from 1996 to 2002. Mr. Boyson’s 24 years of experience and expertise spans the full spectrum of aging services, including multi-site residential care, therapy, home health and community-based services, and hospice.

Prior to rejoining Eliza Jennings, Mr. Boyson held the position of president of Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice, a Columbus-based provider of home and community-based services and subsidiary of Ohio Living, serving 41 of Ohio’s 88 counties. Mr. Boyson also held the position of chief financial officer for Therapy Partners, an Eliza Jennings Group venture, managing financial operations for its Ohio division, and helping to facilitate the company’s expansion. He also served as chief financial officer and interim CEO for Laurel Lake Retirement Community in Hudson, Ohio, and held senior-level positions at Deloitte & Touche LLP.

Mr. Boyson is a CPA and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kent State University. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Public Accountants. Mr. Boyson also serves on the board of Humility of Mary Housing, Inc., a transitional and senior housing provider. He is a member of LeadingAge Ohio, the statewide advocacy organization for not-for-profit aging services providers.
