(Cleveland, Ohio) – Eliza Jennings, a nationally recognized expert in innovative aging services, announced that Michael Gray has been promoted to vice president of information technology (IT) and compliance officer effective March 7, 2019.

“Mike has been instrumental in leading significant enhancements to our IT systems, software, and infrastructure,” said Eliza Jennings President and CEO Richard M. Boyson Jr. “We look forward to his contributions toward implementing future technology that will support the organization’s long-term goals and better serve residents.”

Gray joined Eliza Jennings in 2008 as an IT assistant. He has since assumed increasing responsibility within the organization and most recently served as director of information technology. Gray ensures that Eliza Jennings’ IT services meet and exceed quality benchmarks, and oversees compliance and risk management functions.

Gray holds an Applied Business degree in Information Technology and is a certified Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP). He is also Health Information Technology (HIT) certified and FIT Firestop certified. Mr. Gray serves on the Associate Board for Recovery Resources.

George Hutchinson is a principal at Allegro Realty Advisors, Ltd., and specializes in portfolio management, site selection, and tenant representation. Mr. Hutchinson has 25 years of commercial real estate experience with expertise in strategic planning, project management, and lease negotiations. Prior to joining Allegro, Mr. Hutchinson was a partner of Deloitte & Touche. Previously, he was the partner in charge of corporate real estate portfolio services at Cleveland Real Estate Partners, later acquired by Deloitte. Mr. Hutchinson is a nine-time recipient of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties’ (NAIOP) Deal of the Year Award, and is a published author and accomplished speaker. Mr. Hutchinson served on the boards of Recovery Resources, TeamNEO’s Real Estate Advisory Group, and The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Mr. Hutchinson earned a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Entomology at the University of Florida and holds an Ohio real estate license.

Robert Lape is an Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist, writer, and food critic whose career spans more than 50 years. Mr. Lape was the Eyewitness Gourmet on WABC-TV News in New York, the forerunner of the Food Television Network. He authored a column in Crain’s New York Business for 24 years, and hosted a daily “Dining Diary” feature on WCBS, the CBS flagship radio station in New York, for 30 years. Mr. Lape has been media critic for Entertainment Tonight, food critic for The Today Show, and host of many radio and TV news and food programs. He was awarded degrees in journalism and radio speech from Kent State University, as well as a master’s assistantship by Ohio University.

 

Brendan A. Lawlor is the executive vice president and group head of Institutional Bank Credit Risk Management for KeyBank National Association, and oversees KeyBank Capital Markets and Asset Based Lending Divisions. He assists with setting lending strategies, works with various regulatory bodies, and serves as a member of various committees within the bank. Mr. Lawlor joined KeyBank in 1994. She is a co-founder of Mobile Monday Cleveland, helping businesses integrate mobile technologies into their organizations. Ms. Messina earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business Management Technology from Kent State University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Organizational Leadership from Malone University. Allen R. Tracy, CPA, FHFMA, is senior vice president and chief financial officer of UHHS/CSAHS, the affiliation between the University Hospitals Health System and the Sisters of Charity Health System.
