Renaissance Health Center Earns Five-Star Rating from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

(Cleveland, Ohio) – The Renaissance Health Center has earned Five-Star overall and quality ratings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The Renaissance Health Center is a 96-bed, Medicare and Medicaid certified skilled nursing facility located on the Renaissance Retirement Campus, Eliza Jennings’ continuing care retirement community in Olmsted Township. The Renaissance Health Center offers rehabilitation services as well as long-term skilled nursing care.

“This achievement is the result of the hard work and dedication of the entire Renaissance staff,” said Eliza Jennings President and CEO Richard M. Boyson Jr. “They are to be commended for their ongoing commitment to excellence! This exceptional achievement underscores Eliza Jennings’ commitment to provide resident-centered choices and superior care.”
The rating system was created by CMS to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes using information from comprehensive Ohio Department of Health inspections, quality measures based on clinical outcomes, and staffing. Ratings range from one to five stars, with five indicating the highest quality. Ratings may be found on Nursing Home Compare, a resource provided by Medicare.gov, the U.S. Government Site for Medicare. Medicare.gov offers checklists and other tools that may be helpful when planning a visit to evaluate if a nursing home is right for you or a family caregiver.
