(Cleveland, Ohio) – Eliza Jennings, a nationally recognized and trusted expert in aging services,
announced the appointment of officers to the Board of Trustees for the fiscal 2018 – 2020 term,
effective July 2017 through June 2019:
Margaret G. Weitzel, Chair, was appointed to the Board in 2010. Weitzel
chairs the Strategic Planning Committee, and serves on the Development,
Finance, HR/Quality Assessment, SAIDO Learning, and Compensation
Committees. She is executive vice president, and partner for Wyse
Advertising, Inc. and serves as secretary on their board of directors. Weitzel
has been affiliated with numerous not-for-profit and community service
organizations. She serves as immediate past chair of the board for Beck
Center for the Arts, as treasurer for the women’s committee executive board for Cleveland
Institute of Music, as a life director for Recovery Resources, and on the board of Northeast Ohio
Hospice. Weitzel attended Cleveland State University, and graduated with a marketing degree
from Dyke College.
Glenn S. Krassen, Secretary, joined the Board of Trustees in March 2013
and serves on the Finance and SAIDO Learning Committees. Krassen is
partner in charge of the shale, oil and gas practice group at Bricker & Eckler,
and has more than 30 years of energy law experience. He is a member and
former vice president of the board of trustees of HELP Foundation, Inc. and
former president of the Shaker Heights Public Library board of trustees.
Krassen is a member of the American Bar Association; Ohio State Bar
Association, (former chairman of the Natural Resources Committee; current
member of the Public Utilities Committee); and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He is
an adjunct professor at the Cleveland Marshall College of Law, and a published author. Krassen

earned a Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree
with distinction from George Washington University; Phi Beta Kappa.
John E. Hunger, CPA, Treasurer, has served on the Board since 1994.
Hunger is a former chair of Eliza Jennings’ Board of Trustees. He currently
chairs the Finance Committee, and serves on the Strategic Planning
Committee. Hunger is the current treasurer and chief financial officer of World
Shipping, Inc., an international marine transportation services company. He
formerly was associated with Coopers & Lybrand. Hunger is a graduate of Ohio
Wesleyan University.
